 Most Recently we learned about House Style here are some of the thoughts and things that came up

House Style is the special usage and edits followed to match stylistic consistency is particular series or publications. Example: Masthead Font, Colors, logo. placement of pictures and location of barcode

Each magazine house style allows brand recognition which allows these series to separate themselves from other brands of publications.

House Styles are developed by a group of editors and writers to best depict what the brand of publication is going for.

Now when I look at a magazine I look at how the house style is set up and why it is set up like that. What feeling does it evoke or what is it trying to represent.
